Helping The People assists potential and existing homeowners along and during their paths of Home Ownership. We educate, coach and guide our clients and then recommend the best service providers for each of their needs within the home buying, selling and financing process.

We have 2 parts to this program. We highly suggest that our potential home owners/players participate in both but it’s not required. There is the Home Ownership Education Seminar & the Home Ownership Coaching Program.

HOME OWNERSHIP EDUCATION SEMINAR

This intensive and informative seminar is 2 hours in length and lasts for 2 consecutive sessions. It is hosted at various locations. The only cost to attend is if the host facility requires a donation to their non-profit organization. It is presented by our experienced and qualified Home Ownership Coaches. Our approach and intention is to provide information and create a better potential home owner. There are no sales or pressure from any vendors to buy or use their services. All participants receive a 3 ring binder that contains all slides from the power point presentation, a glossary & all the various documents and disclosures required during the home buying process.

HOME OWNERSHIP COACHING PROGRAM

Clients enroll and have a private session with our Home Ownership Coach. Their credit, budget, income, housing situation, assets and goals are reviewed and evaluated. Clients then begin SPRING TRAINING and are coached to prepare them for Home Ownership. They enter either the MINOR or MAJOR LEAGUE – depending on their initial session review.

MINOR LEAGUE PLAYERS – Clients that need 60 days to 1 year of coaching. A Home Ownership Plan will be put together and Clients will meet with the Home Ownership Coach once a month until they are ready to meet with a Loan Professional for Conditional Loan Approval through a lender.

MAJOR LEAGUE PLAYERS – Clients that need 30 – 60 days of coaching. A Home Ownership Plan will be put together and Clients will meet with the Home Ownership Coach weekly until they are ready to meet with a Loan Professional for Conditional Loan Approval through a lender.

There is no cost for enrollment into the program.

Once they receive a Conditional Loan Approval, they will be matched up with a Reputable Real Estate Agent (an approved Realtor with Helping The People Home Ownership Resource Center) and begin the search for their new home!

If they already have a relationship with Realtor, that agent will be contacted and provided with a copy of the Conditional Loan Approval. The player will then begin the search for their new home!
